Ayah 1
By the morning brightness,
English - By the morning brightness .
Ayah 2
And the night when it covers with darkness,
English - And [by] the night when it covers with darkness, .
Ayah 3
Not has forsaken you your Lord and not He is displeased,
English - Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you]. .
Ayah 4
And surely the Hereafter (is) better for you than the first.
English - And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. .
Ayah 5
And soon will give you your Lord then you will be satisfied.
English - And your Lord is going to give you, and you will be satisfied. .
Ayah 6
Did not He find you an orphan and give shelter?
English - Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? .
Ayah 7
And He found you lost, so He guided,
English - And He found you lost and guided [you], .
Ayah 8
And He found you in need, so He made self-sufficient.
English - And He found you poor and made [you] self-sufficient. .
Ayah 9
So as for the orphan, then (do) not oppress,
English - So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. .
Ayah 10
And as for one who asks, then (do) not repel,
English - And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]. .
Ayah 11
But as for (the) Favor (of) your Lord narrate.
English - But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. .
