Then Nay! (soon) they will know.
English - Then, no! They are going to know. .
Ayah 6
Have not We made the earth a resting place?
English - Have We not made the earth a resting place? .
Ayah 7
And the mountains (as) pegs,
English - And the mountains as stakes? .
Ayah 8
And We created you (in) pairs,
English - And We created you in pairs .
Ayah 9
And We made your sleep (for) rest,
English - And made your sleep [a means for] rest .
Ayah 10
And We made the night (as) covering,
English - And made the night as clothing .
Ayah 11
And We made the day (for) livelihood,
English - And made the day for livelihood .
Ayah 12
And We constructed over you seven strong,
English - And constructed above you seven strong [heavens] .
Ayah 13
And We placed a lamp burning,
English - And made [therein] a burning lamp .
Ayah 14
And We sent down from the rain clouds water pouring abundantly,
English - And sent down, from the rain clouds, pouring water .
Ayah 15
That We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation,
English - That We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation .
Ayah 16
And gardens (of) thick foliage.
English - And gardens of entwined growth. .
Ayah 17
Indeed, (the) Day (of) the Judgment is an appointed time,
English - Indeed, the Day of Judgement is an appointed time – .
Ayah 18
(The) Day (in which) shall be blown in the trumpet and you will come forth (in) crowds,
English - The Day the Horn is blown and you will come forth in multitudes .
Ayah 19
And is opened the heaven and becomes gateways,
English - And the heaven is opened and will become gateways .
Ayah 20
And are moved the mountains and become a mirage.
English - And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage. .
Ayah 21
Indeed, Hell is lying in wait,
English - Indeed, Hell has been lying in wait .
Ayah 22
For the transgressors a place of return,
English - For the transgressors, a place of return, .
Ayah 23
(They will) be remaining therein (for) ages.
English - In which they will remain for ages [unending]. .
Ayah 24
Not they will taste therein coolness and not any drink,
English - They will not taste therein [any] coolness or drink .
Ayah 25
Except scalding water and purulence,
English - Except scalding water and [foul] purulence – .
Ayah 26
A recompense appropriate.
English - An appropriate recompense. .
Ayah 27
Indeed, they were not expecting an account,
English - Indeed, they were not expecting an account .
Ayah 28
And they denied Our Signs (with) denial.
English - And denied Our verses with [emphatic] denial. .
Ayah 29
And every thing We have enumerated it (in) a Book.
English - But all things We have enumerated in writing. .
Ayah 30
So taste, and never We will increase you except (in) punishment.
English - "So taste [the penalty], and never will We increase you except in torment." .
Ayah 31
Indeed, for the righteous (is) success,
English - Indeed, for the righteous is attainment – .
Ayah 32
Gardens and grapevines,
English - Gardens and grapevines .
Ayah 33
And splendid companions well-matched,
English - And full-breasted [companions] of equal age .
Ayah 34
And a cup full.
English - And a full cup. .
Ayah 35
Not they will hear therein any vain talk and not any falsehood,
English - No ill speech will they hear therein or any falsehood – .
Ayah 36
(As) a reward from your Lord, a gift (according to) account,
English - [As] reward from your Lord, [a generous] gift [made due by] account, .
Ayah 37
Lord (of) the heavens and the earth and whatever (is) between both of them the Most Gracious, not they have power from Him (to) address.
English - [From] the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Most Merciful. They possess not from Him [authority for] speech. .
Ayah 38
(The) Day will stand the Spirit and the Angels (in) rows, not they will speak except (one) who - permits [for] him the Most Gracious, and he (will) say (what is) correct.
English - The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows, they will not speak except for one whom the Most Merciful permits, and he will say what is correct. .
Ayah 39
That (is) the Day the True. So whoever wills let him take towards his Lord a return.
English - That is the True Day; so he who wills may take to his Lord a [way of] return. .
Ayah 40
Indeed We [We] have warned you (of) a punishment near (the) Day will see the man what have sent forth his hands and will say the disbeliever, "O I wish! I were dust!"
English - Indeed, We have warned you of a near punishment on the Day when a man will observe what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, "Oh, I wish that I were dust!" .
